The moment I heard The Chemicals Between Us in 1999, I was in love with the guitars. I’ve always wanted to cover it, but I’ve never had time. Something always comes up. I’m finally getting to tackle it, and it’s an absolutely perfect addition to my album.
Warm Cyborgs presented an opportunity to finally, create a new, modern version of one of Jonathan’s favorite songs. Warm Cyborgs is about disconnection, and a general breakdown of communication. The Chemicals between us is a perfect fit for the theme.
